Backup & move to a new device

Your shots, weight, and check-ins live in your Bracken account. Progress photos stay on each device until you export a ZIP and save it somewhere you trust.

New phone or browser?

Your shots, weight, and check-ins follow your Bracken account when you sign in. Progress photos stay on each device until you move them with a backup ZIP.

  1. Export on the old device

Settings → Backup → Export backup ZIP. In the share sheet, pick iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Files, or email yourself the file.

  2. Sign in on the new device

Install Bracken or open the website and sign in. Your log history should already be there.

  3. Download the ZIP on the new device

Open the same cloud app (or your email), download the backup ZIP to this device.

  4. Restore on the new device

Settings → Backup → choose the ZIP → Restore backup. Progress photos from the ZIP are saved locally on this device.

Bracken does not connect to Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, or OneDrive. Export a ZIP, then use your phone or browser share sheet to save it wherever you like. That copy is yours; we never see it.

Open Backup & restore (sign in required)

Export formats (free)
